THE STORY
Bumalik ang isang baguhang manunubos na si Mina sa bayan ng Pasig – isang marahas na lungsod sa gitna ng mapaminsalang digmaan sa Pilipinas. Sa kaniyang pagdating, sinalakay siya ng mga tulisan at di inaasahang maligtas ni Dante, isang madirigmang esclabo.
‘Di kalaunan, natuklasan ni Mina na isang wanted kriminal ang kaniyang tagapagligtas na si Dante at may malaking pabuya sa kaniyang ulo. Habang ang ibang manunubos ay nagsisimula na ring maghabol kay Dante, unti-tunting nahihila si Mina sa mapangib na misteryo na pumapalibot sa nakaraan ni Dante.
Ngayon, kailangan niyang tuklasain ang lihim ng esclabong ito at magpasya kung saan nakasalalay ang kaniyang katapatan.
Mina, a rookie bounty hunter (Manunubos ), returns to her hometown of “Pasig”, an unforgiving city thriving in a post-apocalyptic Philippines. Upon her arrival, she is beset by thugs and unexpectedly saved by Dante, a warrior-slave (Mandirigmang esclabo).
She soon discovers that her savior is a wanted criminal with a hefty sum on his head. As other bounty hunters close in, Mina is pulled into a dangerous web of mystery surrounding Dante’s past.
Now, she must unravel the secrets of this warrior-slave
and decide where her loyalties truly lie.

Melvin Calingo is a faculty member at a college of fine arts. Over the years, he has established himself as a prolific illustrator and comic artist, with notable works including Kanto Inc. and Destiny’s Hand. His unique style and storytelling have earned him recognition in the Filipino comic book industry, making him a respected figure in both academia and popular media.
