THE STORY
Starting her first year of high school, Jaime—the ever-delusional rookie shipper—is fully committed to her brand-new dream: becoming a romance writer. CHOCNUT-SAN
Chocnut-san is a versatile independent Filipino artist hailing from the Philippines, skillfully navigating the realms of comic art, graphic design, and video editing. With a keen eye for capturing life’s subtle beauty, her comics and illustrations often explore themes of love, everyday experiences, and personal growth, as seen in works like In His Universe, Walang Laman ang Kahon, and the anthology Stay: 21 comic stories. She has also lent her illustrative talents to collaborative projects such as JP Palabon’s Biyernes Santo, Jamie McGhee’s poem adaptation I Grew Up, I Guess, and Kongratz’s Ang Laptop. 1
Beyond her narrative artwork, Chocnut-san applies her video editing expertise to create engaging social media advertisements for a US-based digital marketing company and actively connects with her audience through her vibrant presence on Instagram and Facebook.
